Are you passionate about the arts and curatorial practice(s)? Do you want to be part of a dynamic and inclusive global community dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between artists, curators, and cultural workers? All About Curating (AAC) invites you to apply for our internship program!

 

Internship Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team and contribute to the development and growth of the AAC platform. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of curators, artists, researchers, and cultural managers from around the world. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of curatorial practice and to be part of a global movement that is redefining the boundaries of curation. This is an unpaid internship. The internship does not support any institutional and/or academic credits.

Responsibilities

 

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the AAC team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and managing communications.

  • Community Engagement: Help manage and engage with our online community, including social media platforms and community discussion forums.

  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of virtual events, workshops, and webinars.

  • Social Media & Digital Marketing: Support managing social media platforms and the AAC website. 

  • Content Creation: Support in design and content creation regarding marketing and promotional purposes. 

 

Qualifications
  • Strong interest in art and curatorial practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and basic digital tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Previous experience in the arts or cultural sector is a plus but not required.

    3. What would be the expected length of the internship (for example: 3 months, 6 months, etc.)?

    4. What kinds of tasks you are primarily interested in being involved with (administrative, communications, coordination, design, operations, or perhaps something else)? 

    5. How many hours a week you will be available?  

    6. Which days/ time of the week works the best for you?
